Since 1989, Pustaka Cipta has been a publisher for secondary school text books in Malaysia under the KBSM scheme. Pustaka Cipta is also well known as an Editorial Consultant, arranging and supervising publication projects for institutional and corporate bodies.

Besides publishing our own titles, we have also helped numerous parties in their publishing works. These esteem clients includes Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, Shell Companies of Malaysia, Malaysian Institute of Maritime Research, Perak State Government, Sarawak Literary Society, PENA, UMNO and many more. These works comprise many aspects of publishing such as translation, editorial, design & layout, colour separation and even up to printing.

Translation

Pustaka Cipta offers translation services in both English and Malay. Pustaka Cipta has worked with a number of statutory institutions and bodies in publishing higher education and technical books. By using an independant panel translators, an accurate and high quality translation in achieved.

Typesetting

Modern computer network, up-to-date desktop publishing softwares as well as constant upgrading of technology are utilized to ensure customer satisfaction. Eventhough we concentrate on in house jobs, from time to time we do accept outside jobs.

Design & Layout

Pustaka Cipta have always paid a lot of attention on design and layout matters. We have also extended this service to outsiders. We have done numerous annual reports, art catalogues, brocures, posters as well as stationaries.

Distribution

Pustaka Cipta has vast experience indirectly distributing books to school for the past 5 years in accordance with its contract to publish and supply school texts under the KBSM. Pustaka Cipta has also supplied 'English Readers' under the 'World Bank Project' to schools all Malaysia, Pustaka Cipta maintains an extensive network of book dealers in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak to facilitate distribution.
