First Logo

This logo was created in 1985, the year Pustaka Cipta started operations.
The logo was designed with the pencil as the main theme. The pencil is always seen as the writing instruments of the author, to be used in expressing his self and his works. The fact that it was a pencil and not a pen symbolizes the path the company is taking; a path full of corrections and modification in our struggle to find our true self. The colour maroon reflects the sacrifices and 'blood' that we are willing to put into this publishing house. The background, being the open pages of a book, reflects our business; publishing. The word Pustaka Cipta was included to introduce the company which is very new in the market.
Second Logo

This logo was first used in 1989. It superseed the old logo to reflect the changing times as well as the status of the company. The year 1989 was the year Pustaka Cipta started its textbook publishing activities.
The main theme in this logo is the word Cipta which literary means "to create". This word was deem appropriate because of our philosophy and nature of business. The connection of the word with the open pages of a book and the use of silver as our corporate colour reflects our desire to publish quality publications. The square shape was prefered over other shapes reflects our sincere and serious approach to publishing. The font picked for the word Cipta reflects our creativity and flair in publishing.
