During its birth in 1985, the nation was suffering from its worst economic recession of all time. The Malaysian political scene was in an uproar culminating in the split of the ruling party into two.

It was during this period of uncertainty and anxiety that Pustaka Cipta was created. As a result of the difficult times and circumstances surrounding our birth, Pustaka Cipta was quick to learn the importance of self-confidence and survival.
